FSP is meant as a platform for publishing original, high-quality research output within Scandinavian studies and thus making it openly available to the academic community. It is our aim and hope that papers published in FSP are of interest to scholars of Scandinavian studies worldwide as well as enthusiasts of Scandinavian studies from outside of the academic community. The journal’s Editors are Andrzej Szubert (Editor-in-chief), Sylwia Izabela Schab, Mikołaj Sobkowiak and Aleksandra Wilkus (all from Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, Poland).
Contributions from Poland and abroad are welcome. Papers submitted to FSP may be written in English, Danish, Norwegian, Swedish and German. Please see Author guidelines for authors for more details.
Two volumes are published every year. As of 2021, the volumes are published as open issues. Submissions undergo a double blind peer review, and currently, in open issues, they are published right after they have been accepted by the editors.
The journal does not charge authors any fees for the submission, processing, or publication of manuscripts. There are no article processing charges (APCs), submission fees, or other publication-related costs. Publishing in the journal is free of charge for all authors.
Volumes 1–10, 12, 19, and 20 were published in print by AMU Press. Since volume 11 (2010), the journal has been published online, except for the print volumes listed above.
All volumes are freely available through PRESSto. The platform hosts the journal’s archive, ensuring continued access to its published content.
FSP is an open-access journal, which means that all content is freely available to users and their institutions. Access to the full content of every issue is immediate and unrestricted by technical barriers, including any requirement to log in.
Papers published in FSP are subject to the Creative Commons BY 4.0 license (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/deed.en). The authors of articles published in FSP retain the copyright.
FSP is indexed on the ERiH Plus list as well as other indexing and abstracting services. See Abstracting/indexing for details.
